Green Options are the choices we make in our own homes. Four most important things we can do or we make choices are:
the Reduce our consumption
make careful choices
the use of renewable resources
repair and reuse whenever possible
And each one of these options do or actions we take, contribute to the conservation of our resources of planets. It is expected that the items mentioned in this series of articles will help reduce the consumption of things like product packaged bought the energy we use.
We all have the freedom to make choices in things we control our own House, and is the perfect place to start making those choices green lifestyles are two areas where our choices of green life can really make a difference and are water conservation and energy efficiency.
Think for a minute, when you turn on the tap water, the water must come from somewhere and must be treated before you can use it, then has to be pumped to your location, and then processed again becomes wastewater. So, if we choose the green living to conserve water, save not only water, but the cost to treat then pump it then to process waste potential. Ultimately this comes down to an economy on our utility bill. The choice is really easy, as having a minor shower or bathtub, watering the lawn some fewer times, remembering to turn off the light when leaving a room, moving the thermostat up a few degrees in summer and even a few degrees in winter. It may sound a bit silly, but making some of these things, we actually saw a reduction in our invoice!
My wife and I plan to move to the Texas Hill country when retiring and there try to practice what we preach. our land is completely melhorars and provides a blank screen perfect for us to practice on. We deepen our own well and pump with a solar panel and battery power.Our septic system diverts Grey water (bathing, washing Sinks and kitchen) water garden, fruit trees and lawn.Our gate opener will be solar powered. Our heat will be in the form of a wood burning stove.We intend to construct a root cellar where all our home canned goods will be stored in a consistent 50 some odd degrees.Really can help reduce consumption.If we made only a small part, this would be a huge savings to the planet.
Make careful choices will also contribute to send a message to companies that do not subscribe to the way of life living green. If we look at each packet of purchase items and discover that the company is not "live green", don't buy them.You can also let them know of our choice via email or letter and also make them aware we intend to inform our friends and family of our choice and why.Do you think will send a message?
